Job summary

The University of Denver invites applications for a Development Manager in the Josef Korbel School of Global and Public Affairs. The role coordinates development projects, donor communications, events, appeals and stewardship to connect alumni and donors with the School’s mission.

Reporting to the Executive Director of Development and Alumni Engagement, you will partner with the Korbel team and central Advancement to manage annual giving, prepare impact reports, support scholarships and boards,

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience (Veterans with equivalent combination of military certification/education and experience may substitute for this qualification).
  • 2 years of experience in development, alumni or constituent relations, advancement events, or project management, including work with sophisticated internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate annual giving initiatives and support campus-wide appeals.
  • Manage stewardship for annual and leadership donors to targeted priorities and funds.
  • Plan and execute events, board and council meetings, and donor communications.
  • Support creation of donor proposals and collateral with the development team.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Advancement Communications and central teams to support donor efforts.
