Job summary

A nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing violence is seeking a Development Manager to oversee database management and mid-level donor strategies. The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of experience, exceptional analytical skills, and a strong background in managing donor relationships and events. This role requires remote work flexibility and occasional travel, offering a salary range of $70,000 - $80,000 along with a comprehensive benefits package including unlimited PTO, health insurance, and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Development experience, ideally with major or mid-level donor strategies.
• Demonstrated experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.org.
• Exceptional analytical skills with proven ability to create actionable insights.
• Experience leading events both in-person and virtual.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; high emotional intelligence.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Manage Salesforce donor records for major giving.
• Produce real-time reporting and dashboards for major gifts.
• Build and manage SHP's mid-level donor program.
• Lead communications for major donors.
• Execute engagement events for major donors.
