Job summary

Rock Church seeks a senior fundraising leader to design and drive a comprehensive, multi-channel development program—from major gifts to annual giving—that advances mission and community impact. With 8+ years in fundraising leadership, you will build a scalable donor pipeline, cultivate high-capacity donors, navigate cross-functional teams, and ensure compliance while delivering measurable results.

This full-time role is based in Southern California, with 25% travel, starting at $125,000

Qualifications

8+ years of progressive leadership experience in fundraising.
Proven success in securing major gifts of $100K+.
Ability to build high-level donor relationships and pipelines.
Experience leading cross-functional teams aligned with organizational priorities.
Demonstrates Christ-centered leadership and values alignment.

Responsibilities

Lead development and partnership initiatives for Rock Church.
Design and execute a multi-channel fundraising strategy (major gifts, events, grants).
Own revenue goals with quarterly and annual targets and tracking.
Build and manage a portfolio of high-capacity donors with cultivation plans.
Oversee donor systems, CRM, and giving platforms for accuracy and scalability.
Ensure compliance with financial, legal, and regulatory requirements.
