Job summary

Wilma Theater is seeking a Development Associate to support major gifts and general fundraising. This role will research and profile donors, document cultivation plans in Tessitura, and assist with proposals and events.

You will help manage board-related tasks and coordinate communications with donors and prospects. The position is full-time and exempt, with a compensation package around the Wilma standard.

Qualifications

• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Proactive with strong written and verbal communication
• Comfortable with phone and email communications
• Able to manage multiple activities at a fast, accurate pace

Responsibilities

• Identify major gift prospects using Tessitura, iwave, and social tools.
• Research donors and create profiles with photos.
• Record cultivation and stewardship plans in the CRM.
• Prepare donor meeting proposals under guidance.
• Track progress toward fundraising goals.
• Plan and execute donor cultivation events and development events.
• Maintain detailed donor interaction records in the CRM.
