Job summary

Welltower Inc. is seeking a Development Manager, Wellness Housing to lead day-to-day execution of multiple projects across our senior living and build-to-rent portfolios.

You will partner with Investments, Construction, Legal, Finance, and Asset Management to underwrite opportunities, coordinate due diligence, and drive design, entitlement, and construction efforts. The role requires strong analytical, financial modeling, and project-management skills, with a track record of coordinating

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field and strong development experience.
• Experience in real estate development lifecycle from site evaluation to stabilization.
• Familiarity with zoning, entitlement processes, and permitting requirements.
• Ability to coordinate multiple third-party consultants and timelines.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, pro forma development, and sensitivity analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day management of Wellness Housing projects from pre-development through turnover and launch.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and cross-workstream coordination.
• Track performance against underwriting assumptions and surface variances for leadership.
• Support change order review, contingency management, and cost-to-complete forecasting.
• Coordinate with Construction Management, Investments, Asset Management, and Legal teams.
