Job summary

Fayetteville State University seeks an experienced development professional to identify and cultivate donors, solicit gifts of $25,000 or more, and steward relationships in support of university objectives.

You will engage corporations/foundations for philanthropic support and coordinate with Career Services to create internship and employment opportunities for students. This role requires travel and close collaboration with the advancement team and campus leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with a minimum of 3 years development experience or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel regionally and/or out of state is required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and cultivate donors; solicit and steward gifts.
• Engage corporations/foundations for philanthropic support and coordinate with Career Services.
