Job summary

Voices Together, a nonprofit organization empowering individuals through its Voices Music Therapy model, seeks an Assistant Director of Development to lead fundraising and donor stewardship. This role partners with the Senior Director of Development and cross-functional teams to grow revenue from individuals, corporate sponsors, and foundations.

The Associate Director will foster a culture of philanthropy, craft donor-centered communications, and expand Medicaid-related partnerships as needed,

Qualifications

• Five+ years of professional fundraising experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Proven success securing gifts from individuals, corporations, and foundations.
• Experience in donor stewardship and retention strategies.
• Strong relationship-building and moves-management experience.
• Experience writing donor communications and proposals.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and data management.
• Knowledge of healthcare or Medicaid partnerships preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual fundraising strategies for donors.
• Build and manage donor pipeline across individuals, corporations, and foundations.
• Cultivate and solicit support for annual programming.
• Strengthen corporate sponsorship and partnership opportunities.
• Identify and pursue foundation funding opportunities and stewardship.
• Support development to secure government funding as needed.
• Design and implement donor stewardship pathways and touchpoints.
• Produce donor updates, impact storytelling, and communication strategies.
• Manage CRM records and engagement plans; track donor trends.
• Produce fundraising reports and stewardship metrics.
