Job summary

Core Spaces is seeking a Development Intern in Knoxville, TN to support the Development Managers during project delivery. The internship offers 10-20 hours per week through Fall and Spring and expands to 30-40 hours per week in Summer 2027, with duties spanning close-out, coordination of FF&E, and site meetings.

Ideal candidates will show professionalism, strong communication skills, and the ability to work with multiple partners.

Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to maintain professionalism in face of deadlines and handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Experience with construction, architecture, engineering, or project management is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with project delivery and close-out to facilitate successful completion and turnover.
  • Coordinate punch-list review/tracking, FF&E delivery/coordination/installation, unit and common area setup; support move-ins.
  • Review and enforcement of contractual requirements for design and construction professionals; meet with contractors, architects, engineers & consultants to review status and resolve issues.
  • Review and analysis of potential changes to budget or schedule; attend project meetings.
  • Occasional travel may be necessary; perform all other duties as assigned by management.
