Job summary

Harvard Hillel in Cambridge seeks a Development Manager to connect donors, funds and programs across campus and online, supporting a Jewish home for students. You will manage fundraising systems, coordinate cross-department projects, write proposals, and engage with board and staff to steward gifts.

As the organization grows, you will be mentored into donor-facing work while expanding fundraising strategy and program impact across Harvard University.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• No less than 3 years of experience in a dynamic position in a non-profit organization.
• Skilled at creative, data driven presentations.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office tools; comfortable in both PowerPoint and Canva.

Responsibilities

• Develop fundraising operations, maintain databases, and ensure donor stewardship.
• Plan, coordinate, and communicate Development department activities across teams.
• Lead grant research, proposals, budgets and reporting with Finance and leadership.
• Manage HEART and student engagement tools; support event planning and registrations.
• Collaborate with Board and staff to steward gifts and coordinate fundraising events.
