Job summary

Flywheel Energy, LLC, located in Oklahoma City, is seeking a Development Geologist to own the geologic framework behind our Eagle Ford development program in South Texas. You will decide where development capital goes, define landing zones and sequencing, and verify results against predictions to refine future decisions.

You will work within the Eagle Ford asset team alongside reservoir engineering, drilling, completions, operations geology, and reserves.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Geology or Geoscience is required.
5+ years of upstream oil & gas experience focused on unconventional (horizontal shale) development.
Demonstrated subsurface mapping, well planning, and development-targeting experience.
Proficiency with industry-standard geologic interpretation and mapping software (Petra, Kingdom, Petrel, ArcGIS).

Responsibilities

Own structure, isopach, and reservoir-property maps across Eagle Ford asset.
Define landing zones, target windows, and spacing concepts with reservoir engineering; quantify geologic risk by location.
Maintain and high-grade the drilling inventory; support pad selection, sequencing, and the multi-rig development schedule.
Provide geologic inputs to type curves, reserves bookings, and the annual plan.
Integrate logs, petrophysics, core, 3D seismic, geomechanics, and production data into asset models.
