Job summary

The Nuclear Company is a fast-growing AI-enabled nuclear energy startup. This Manager, Development Finance role focuses on day-to-day financial tracking for active construction projects, developing finance models and dashboards for leadership review.

You’ll work with EPC contractors and internal teams to ensure forecasts and actuals are accurate and timely. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in FP&A or project finance, strong Excel skills, and a bachelor’s in Finance or Accounting.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, accounting, or project finance.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to build/maintain models.

Responsibilities

• Monthly actuals: pull and reconcile project-level actual spend against budget.
• Reporting support: build and maintain deployment reporting package and capital dashboard.
• EPC billing support: track milestone billing and change orders from EPC firms.
• Ad hoc analysis: respond to requests for cost or schedule cuts.
• Data hygiene: keep project finance data clean and consistent across systems.
