Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Communications, English, journalism, or a related field.
• Two years of administrative experience in a nonprofit environment preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with outstanding customer service.
• Ability to handle confidential donor/client information.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Excellent writing, editing, transcription, and word processing skills.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong time management and detail orientation.
• Self-starter with organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate passion for the Mission and core values.
• Provide administrative support to the Development Department (word processing, transcription, correspondence, reports, presentations, mailings).
• Assist with donor, foundation, and grant research and preparation.
• Maintain donor database and mailing lists for annual appeals.
• Lead planning and execution of annual fundraising events (Golf Charity Classic, Fashion Show & Luncheon).
• Coordinate silent auctions, sponsorship materials, and event communications/logistics.
• Create marketing collateral and coordinate annual Appeals campaigns.
• Update social media and enhance visual marketing materials.
