Job summary

Repsol in the United States is seeking a Development Engineering Intern to support the Facilities & Process Engineering teams during the 2027 summer program. You will assist with design, optimization, and execution of surface facilities to back upstream oil and gas development.

Interns work on cost estimation, process simulations, equipment sizing, data analysis, and field verification with seasoned engineers, gaining hands-on experience through live projects.

Qualifications

• Fully authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, modeling, and optimization of surface facilities and related systems.
• Perform cost estimates, bid packages, and project schedules.
• Participate in field visits, reviews, and data gathering for engineering activities.
• Support data analysis, process simulations, and development of preliminary PFDs and P&IDs.
