Job summary

Repsol SA is seeking an Development Engineering Intern to support Facilities and Process Engineering teams in design, optimization, and execution of surface facilities for upstream oil and gas development.

The internship is based at The Woodlands, TX, onsite with a 12-week May–August 2027 duration. Interns will work on live projects, gain hands-on experience, and receive mentorship from experienced engineers, with a summer stipend provided.

Qualifications

• GPA 3.3 or higher (transcript required).
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant engineering.
• Availability for a continuous 12-week period May 17–Aug 6, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Assist design, modeling, and optimization of surface facilities and processes.
• Support project scopes, cost estimates, and schedules; participate in reviews and site visits.
• Analyze data, support field development planning, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
