RadNet, Inc. has an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer II to join our Marine team in Kennesaw, GA. In this role, you will develop marine propellers and apply advanced analysis techniques in designing marine products.

Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Marine Engineering, along with 3+ years of experience in product design. This position offers various benefits including a 401(k) and profit sharing.

Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer II to join our Marine team in Kennesaw, GA. In this role you will be responsible for the development of marine propellers and the application of advanced analysis techniques in designing marine products. You will evaluate existing products and develop new products from proof of concept through production.

What you’ll be doing:

• Develop marine propellers for outboard engines through analysis of hydrodynamics, structural mechanics, and manufacturability.
• Coordinate and plan on-water testing and evaluation from proof of concept through production.
• Develop and implement advanced CAE processes for designing marine products.
• Perform FEA/CFD analysis to support product development on cross-functional teams.
• Learn established development processes and assist with continuous process improvement to enhance efficiency.

What you need to be successful:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Marine Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience designing consumer or industrial products.
• 3+ years of experience in marine industry product design preferred.
• Proven experience working in cross-functional teams.
• Proven experience applying FEA and/or CFD to product development, with experience using NX NASTRAN/STAR-CCM+ preferred.
• Highly skilled with 3D CAD tools such as SolidWorks, NX, CAESES, etc.
• Experience or project work using formal optimization techniques preferred.
• Programming experience in MATLAB, C/C++, Python, etc.
• Willingness to travel to Yamaha Motor Japan, suppliers, and testing sites as needed.
