Job summary

Johnson & Johnson MedTech in Cincinnati, OH seeks Development Engineer (GTO/SC) Summer Intern for May–August 2027. Three vacancies; full-time on-site hybrid role with at least 3 days on-site.

Intern will support Global Technical Operations/Supply Chain projects within MedTech Surgery, Endomechanical and Energy teams, gaining hands-on experience in data analysis, process development and supplier interaction.

Qualifications

• Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year is required.
• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, or related fields.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Must have completed a minimum of two semesters at the start of intern term.
• Must not have graduation date prior to August 2027.
• Demonstrated leadership/participation in campus programs/community service.
• Availability to work full-time on-site for the intern term; hybrid role with at least 3 on-site days.
• Previous internship or Co-Op in medical device industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist data collection, analysis, consolidation, and reporting for supply chain projects.
• Build and develop tools to improve current processes.
• Interact with external suppliers to support projects and lead small initiatives.
• Write process development protocols and reports.
• Analyze process data with varying levels of analytics.
• Support input of manufacturing requirements to ensure manufacturability.
