Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Packaging Engineering, Polymer Science, or related engineering field.
• 1–3 years of engineering or product development experience in flexible packaging or related industries is desirable.
• Knowledge of flexible packaging materials and manufacturing processes is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of new flexible packaging structures from concept through commercialization.
• Design materials configurations to meet performance, manufacturing, regulatory, sustainability, and cost objectives.
• Supervise pilot and production line trials and provide technical recommendations.
• Document trial results accurately in Lotus Notes Trial Request Database.
• Coordinate production trials and assist in scale-up to commercial production.
• Prepare technical reports summarizing development work, trial results, conclusions, and recommendations.
• Work with Operations to optimize manufacturability and process capability.
• Provide field assistance to customers and company representatives as needed.
