Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, computer science, or a comparable field.
- Very good knowledge of low-level C programming for microcontrollers.
- Knowledge of electronics (circuit design, layout) is desirable.
- Experience with microcontroller-based mixed-signal electronics is a plus.
- Structured and independent work style, with ability to work effectively in a team.
- Business-level German and good written and spoken English.
Responsibilities
- Low-level development of control unit software in C for microcontroller-based mixed-signal electronics.
- Implementation of projects at the prototype stage that serve as initial functional demonstrators for the customer.
- For smaller projects, additional involvement in circuit design and layout of the associated electronics.
- Development of test and commissioning software as a prerequisite for testing the microcontroller-based electronics.
- Commissioning and debugging of the software on the target hardware.
- Ensuring software quality even in early project phases.
- Close coordination with electronics/hardware development and product development.
