Job summary

Kiferbaum Development Group is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead multiple active projects across a growing pipeline of multifamily, mixed-use, and residential development work. This role focuses on project execution from preconstruction to closeout, with accountability for budgets, procurement, schedule, field coordination, and documentation.

You will work closely with ownership to understand project evaluation, budgeting, and delivery from both construction and development

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management is required.
• 5+ years of construction management experience, multi-family preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Experience leading procurement, subcontractor buyout, and cost tracking.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, change management, and financial controls.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead bidding, scope development, takeoffs, buyout, and subcontract issuance.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, cost forecasts, and logs.
• Manage change orders, pay apps, lien waivers, and owner billing support.
• Lead schedule development and coordination with field teams.
• Drive safety, compliance, and quality control on site.
• Coordinate with ownership, design consultants, and contractors.
