Job summary

Anaheim Family YMCA is seeking a Development Administrator to lead fundraising campaigns and support the CEO with high‑level admin tasks. You will develop systems, manage donor databases, and drive donor engagement to advance the YMCA’s mission in Anaheim.

The role requires collaboration across departments, capital campaigns, and event support, with duties that include scheduling, minutes, and reporting. A strong track record in development is preferred.

Qualifications

• Two+ years in fundraising or nonprofit administration.
• Experience with donor cultivation, stewardship, and reporting.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate annual fundraising campaign and strategic planning for mission advancement.
• Develop systems and manage resources to carry out fundraising plans and events.
• Maintain database resource files on top community leaders, donor prospects, and alumni.
• Manage Donor Perfect donor CRM.
• Develop, implement, and manage donor outreach, recognition, stewardship strategies, and engagement communications.
• Implement donor-centric communication inviting current and prospective donors to give.
• Collaborate with departments to promote philanthropy and YMCA programs.
• Assist with special events as needed.
• Assist with capital campaign projects as needed.
• Track, record, retain, and recruit new sponsorships for Y Community Complex.
• Gather data for and prepare the Y USA Annual Report.
• Perform related duties; manage CEO schedule, travel, and expenses.
• Coordinate meetings, prepare minutes, and distribute mail.
