Job summary

SLO Classical Academy is seeking a part-time Development Assistant to support the Development Director in fundraising activities, donor communications, and community outreach. The role includes event support, donor care, and maintaining donor records within a collaborative team.

Responsibilities include managing fundraising campaigns, coordinating family giving goals, and assisting with tax receipts and reports.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in office work and administration.
• Experience assisting with events.
• Mac literate; proficient in Google Suite.
• Knowledge of Salesforce, GoFundMe Pro, Airtable, and Active Campaign (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manage communication, promotion, and recordkeeping for annual fundraisers and events.
• Assist in planning and implementation of fundraising programs and events.
• Organize the Family Fundraising Goal program with tracking, goals, and billing.
• Track sponsorships and assist with securing new sponsors.
• Provide support to donors and families via email, phone, and in person.
• Maintain donor database and update donor information.
