Job summary

AIPAC’s Western States region is looking for our next Director to significantly grow financial support for AIPAC and pro-Israel candidates in the Seattle area. Directors directly impact the U.S.-Israel relationship by cultivating existing members and expanding donations.

A successful Director has a proven track record in sales, donor relations, fundraising, or related fields that show you can build relationships, close deals and grow revenue. AIPAC offers a competitive base salary and benefits.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years work experience in political fundraising/sales or related field with a successful track record of achieving goals.
Exceptional people skills and ability to form close relationships with current and prospective AIPAC members.
Work under pressure; meet deadlines; demonstrate strategic thinking and entrepreneurial spirit.
Bachelor's degree preferred or commensurate experience.

Responsibilities

Create and execute a development plan to increase support and revenue through high-level solicitations, donor cultivation and stewardship.
Build and sustain relationships with current high-level donors and inspire increased investment in our work.
Identify, cultivate and solicit new donors to commit resources toward pro-Israel candidates and AIPAC.
Meet quarterly and annual retention, upgrade and acquisition goals for pro-Israel politics and AIPAC.
Identify, recruit and develop lay leadership for local political leadership roles.
Provide timely political and policy updates to inform and inspire involvement in pro-Israel politics.
Maintain Salesforce CRM to ensure accurate, timely campaign information and activities.
