Job summary

Asian Health Services Foundation seeks a dynamic Director of Development to lead the fundraising program and grow donor relationships in support of health services for the community. The role oversees major gifts, individual giving, events, campaigns, and corporate engagement while managing a team and donor operations.

The DD will partner with senior leadership to translate strategy into measurable revenue, supervise development staff, and cultivate a high-performing donor-centered culture

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• Significant fundraising and development experience with revenue generation.
• Experience with CRM systems and fundraising budgets.
• Ability to work with donors, Board members, executives, staff, community leaders, and other stakeholders.
• 8–15 years of increasing responsibilities in nonprofit management; minimum of five years fundraising and donor cultivation experience.
• Knowledge of the Asian American community; bilingual/bicultural in an Asian language/culture preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement near-, mid-, and long-range strategic plans for expanding revenue from major gifts, individual giving, events, campaigns, and partnerships.
• Partner with leadership to execute annual and multi-year fundraising strategies.
• Translate priorities into annual revenue goals, plans, budgets, and performance objectives.
• Monitor fundraising performance, revenue projections, and ROI to identify opportunities and address challenges.
• Maintain a portfolio of major donors, cultivate, solicit, close, and steward gifts.
• Build donor relationships by connecting interests with AHS’s mission and programs.
• Lead and supervise foundation development staff and operations.
