Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field.
• Five to seven years of progressively responsible fundraising experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with nonprofit boards and leadership.
• Experience supervising staff and leading teams.
• Proficiency with donor management systems and fundraising analytics tools.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
• A demonstrated ability to raise major gifts.
• Sound organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Achieve annual fundraising goals of $2.0 million+ through diversified revenue streams.
• Maintain an active portfolio of major gift prospects and donors with cultivation plans.
• Ensure effective use of donor management systems to track activity and performance.
• Serve as department head, overseeing Grants, Membership, and Development staff.
• Monitor performance, provide feedback, and conduct evaluations for the team.
• Act as an ambassador for the organization within philanthropic and cultural sectors.
• Collaborate with the Board to strengthen engagement and fundraising participation.
• Plan and execute fundraising events and campaigns.
