Job summary

The Attic Youth Center seeks a full-time Director of Development to oversee its fundraising program and position the organization for growth. The Director will lead strategies to raise funds from individuals, foundations, corporations, and government in partnership with the Executive Director and Board.

Responsibilities include managing the development team, donor relations, grant writing, events, marketing, and information management to advance The Attic's mission for LGBTQ youth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher; 5+ years in nonprofit fundraising; 3+ years grant writing experience.
• Proven track record cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major donors.
• Strong staff and program management skills.
• Excellent writer and communicator; provide a grant/appeal letter writing sample.
• Ethical, professional approach with donor data.
• Familiarity with donor databases (Salesforce).
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Commitment to LGBTQ youth and social justice.
