Safe Crossings Foundation is seeking a Development Director to lead the organization's fundraising and relationship-building efforts, reporting to the Executive Director. This role shapes strategies to support our strategic priorities and expands support from individuals, corporations, and grant makers.

You'll manage donor portfolios, collaborate with the ED and board, and oversee events including the Annual Luncheon and peer-to-peer campaigns, while guiding the development team in a

Qualifications

• 5+ years of fundraising experience with increasing responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field.
• Experience leading fundraising events.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to travel within Puget Sound area as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive development and communications plan.
• Cultivate, solicit, and steward individual donors to broaden the base.
• Manage donor portfolio with Executive Director.
• Lead corporate partnerships and stewardship strategy.
• Lead fundraising events and campaigns (Annual Luncheon, peer-to-peer).
• Staff lead for Development/Marketing, Corporate Cultivation, Luncheon committees.
• Assist Executive Director in donor relation plans and reporting.
• Lead weekly Development Team meetings.
