Job summary

Project Hospitality seeks a Director of Development in Staten Island to lead a comprehensive fundraising program, including major gifts, annual giving, foundations, and corporate partnerships. Reporting to the Chief Advancement Officer, you will cultivate and steward donors, develop proposals, manage campaigns and events, and guide the development operations.

This role requires a proven nonprofit fundraising track record, strong relationship skills, and the ability to align fundraising

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
  • 5-7 years nonprofit fundraising or development leadership.
  • Proven success securing and stewarding major gifts; experience with foundations and corporate donors.

Responsibilities

  • Lead fundraising strategies with the Chief Advancement Officer.
  • Oversee major gifts, annual giving, foundation relations, corporate partnerships, donor stewardship, campaigns and events.
  • Cultivate, solicit, and steward individual donors, foundations, corporations, and community partners.
  • Prepare compelling proposals for private grants and government opportunities.
  • Manage post-award deliverables and grant reporting to funders.
  • Oversee CRM, prospect tracking and fundraising analytics.
