The Rector & Visitors of the University of Virginia is seeking an accomplished fundraising professional to serve as Director of Development for the Center for Politics, a premier nonpartisan institution advancing public understanding of politics and civic engagement.

Reporting to the Associate Vice President for Development, the Director will lead the Center's fundraising, cultivate donor relationships, and build a strong pipeline to support current priorities and future growth.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Eight+ years of fundraising/donor relations experience.
• Ability to travel and participate in evening/weekend activities as needed.

Aufgaben

• Lead a comprehensive fundraising strategy across annual, major, principal, and planned giving.
• Manage a diverse portfolio of donors and prospects.
• Partner with Center leadership to identify priorities and develop opportunities for investment.
• Collaborate with the Center's Board of Advisors to support fundraising and donor engagement.
