Job summary

Utah Valley University’s Woodbury School of Business seeks a Development Director to lead fundraising strategy, cultivate major gifts, and expand donor engagement to advance the school’s mission and programs.

The role partners with the Dean and a broad network of alumni, donors, and community leaders to translate vision into meaningful opportunities that support UVU students and initiatives. This is a pivotal leadership position with a focus on growth and impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and three years of staff-level fundraising experience
• Ability to plan development strategies and manage donor relations
• Experience building donor pipelines and partnerships within higher education

Responsibilities

• Raises funds from external constituencies and manages donor portfolios.
• Develops and implements comprehensive development plans for the college/unit.
• Builds donor pipeline and researches potential funding sources.
• Maintains donor records and represents UVU at events and engagements.
• Supports university-level development priorities and sponsorship opportunities.
