Job summary

The Institute for Nonprofit Practice in Needham, MA is seeking a Development Coordinator to support INP’s fundraising across foundations, individuals and corporations. This full-time, exempt role reports to the Development Director and requires meticulous attention to detail, clear communication, and comfort with ambiguity as INP grows.

Excellent and proven communication skills, in person, in writing, and on the phone.
Excellent organizational skills and familiarity with database management.
Ability to meet shifting deadlines with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Comfort working independently and taking initiative to solve problems.

Responsibilities

Assist the Development Director in creating and executing INP’s annual fundraising plan.
Support individual giving: donor entry, acknowledgment, and stewardship.
Support communications strategy and data management of grants.
Provide fundraising administrative support for CEO and Development Director.
Represent INP as an ambassador to external constituents.
Support special projects aligned with growth and development.
