Turn this role into an interview — a resume and cover letter built around what this employer wants.
Stray Cat Alliance is seeking a Development Coordinator to join our small but mighty team in Los Angeles. This data‑driven role focuses on donor databases, gift processing (cash and in-kind), and ensuring donors feel seen and appreciated.
You’ll support tours, donor events, appeals, and press or donor requests as they arise. The position requires 2+ years in fundraising databases and strong MS Office/Google skills, with excellent detail and project management, plus a passion for cats.
Are You Our Development Coordinator?
Are you a spreadsheet whiz who also loves a good thank-you note? Stray Cat Alliance is looking for a Development Coordinator to join our small but mighty team.
This role is data-and-process focused, with regular donor correspondence along the way. You will keep our donor database accurate and organized, process gifts (cash and in-kind), and help make sure our donors feel seen and appreciated. If you love clean, strong systems as much as you love a well-timed thank-you note, this job is for you.
You'll be a valuable extra set of hands across Development: keeping our donor database accurate, processing gifts (cash and in-kind), and helping donors feel appreciated and taken care of.
Some days that means running reports and checking data; other days it might mean helping the Director of Development prep for a tour, lending a hand at a donor event, pulling together materials for an appeal, or supporting a press or donor request as it comes up.
No two days look quite the same, but the throughline is making sure Development runs smoothly and our donors feel valued.
Stray Cat Alliance works every day to save the lives of kittens and cats. We believe that every cat deserves to be safe, healthy, and valued and we help thousands of cats every year in service of this mission.
