Through a 360-degree strategy, Chrysalis supports survivors and addresses abusive behavior with a wide range of programs. Services include a 50-bed crisis shelter offering emergency housing, basic needs, advocacy, trauma counseling, and case management, as well as transitional housing focused on self-empowerment, workforce development, and financial literacy. The organization also provides outpatient counseling by masters-level therapists, victim advocacy in partnership with the Maricopa County Adult Probations Department and lay legal advocacy for various areas of law. Additionally, Chrysalis operates the PAC/PEACE program, helping individuals who have used abusive behavior accept responsibility and adopt non-violent beliefs and practices.
The Development Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Glendale, AZ, supporting Chrysalis’ fundraising and community engagement efforts. This position coordinates day-to-day development activities, including donor communications, event support, and data entry and tracking in fundraising systems. The Development Coordinator assists with preparing grant materials, appeals, and campaign content, and helps maintain accurate records of contributions, acknowledgments, and donor information. The role works closely with the development team to cultivate relationships with donors and partners, respond to inquiries, and provide high-quality support to stakeholders. Additional responsibilities may include coordinating volunteer activities, managing project timelines, supporting marketing and outreach initiatives, and ensuring alignment with Chrysalis’ mission and values.
