Job summary

The Development Coordinator at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago supports the Development/Major Gifts team by coordinating donor relations, donor events and fundraising campaigns. Under the Executive Director, you will manage project timelines, assist with donor outreach, prepare reports and leadership briefings, and maintain files and donor records in CRM.

You will help with event logistics, guest lists, registrations and invitations, and research potential donors to advance SAIC's

Qualifications

  • Supports the execution of fundraising activities and cultivation events, including managing project timelines, assisting with donor outreach, and other related materials.
  • Assists with preparing reports and briefings for leadership.
  • Performs administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, drafting communications for gift officers, and maintaining files and donor records in CRM.
  • Supports the administrative aspects of events, including formatting and reviewing guest lists for accuracy, assisting with registrations/invitations, and other event logistics.
  • Provides support to the team in the research and identification of potential donors.
  • Prepares and distributes fundraising materials.

Position Summary

The Development Coordinator is responsible for providing support to the Development/Major Gifts team by managing and coordinating all activities related to donor relations, donor events, fundraising campaigns, and other initiatives.
