Job summary

Coast to Coast Legal Aid of South Florida (CCLA) is seeking a Development & Communications Associate to elevate visibility, engage the community, and advance fundraising initiatives. You will handle digital content, social media, newsletters, and promotional materials with a focus on storytelling and impact.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of nonprofit marketing experience, strong writing skills, and proficiency with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and email/CMS tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, or related field.
• 1–3 years of nonprofit marketing/communications experience.
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Proficiency with Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience with email marketing tools and CMS (Constant Contact, WordPress, Hootsuite).

Responsibilities

• Design engaging graphics and videos for social media, email campaigns, and outreach materials.
• Develop, draft, edit, upload, and post content and videos for newsletters, social media platforms, website updates, press releases, and promotional materials.
• Ensure brand and style guides are used consistently across the organization to maintain a consistent brand voice.
• Assist with digital advertising campaigns and SEO optimization.
• Connect message, content and channel to deliver to the right audiences and measure the impact through a KPI framework.
• Manage CCLA's social media channels and analyze performance metrics.
• Support marketing efforts for fundraising campaigns, events, and donor outreach.
• Assist in planning and documenting events and outreach activities.
