Job summary

Evergreen Audubon & Nature Center seeks a Development & Communications Manager to oversee communications, marketing content, and donor relations. The role includes newsletters, social media, and CRM implementation, plus managing fundraising activities and events.

The position is funded for 2 years with potential for permanency. It is a hybrid role requiring one in-person Sunday shift at the Evergreen Nature Center and flexible remote hours during the week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years in communications or development.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Ability to create engaging content across multiple channels.
• Experience in donor communications or fundraising with confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Evergreen Audubon’s social media and content calendar.
• Produce electronic newsletter and manage membership communications.
• Draft funder acknowledgments and donor communications.
• Maintain CRM database and donor records.
• Support and staff fundraising events.
• Provide visitor interactions and gift shop operations.
