Evergreen Audubon & Nature Center seeks a Development & Communications Manager to handle communications content, fundraising operations, and donor relationships. The role combines newsletter, social media, and event support with CRM upgrades and annual reporting.

At Evergreen Audubon & Nature Center we are a passionate and enthusiastic group of nature lovers dedicated to helping individuals of all ages connect with nature on a more meaningful level and gain a better understanding of our natural world. The Development & Communications Manager will support two connected areas: communications and marketing content; including our electronic newsletter, email marketing, and social media; and the operations of Evergreen Audubon’s development and fundraising; including implementation and management of new donor management software, funder communications, and maintaining key development records.
This position has funding for 2-years, with the possibility of permanent employment.
Hourly pay rate: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
Hours: Average of 20 hours per week
Schedule:
This is a hybrid position, requiring one in-person day weekly on Sundays from 10 am – 4 pm staffing Evergreen Nature Center. The remaining hours are flexible and remote throughout the week. This position will occasionally require in-person commitments for events.

Exercises discretion and sound judgment when handling confidential funder and donor information.
Enthusiasm for the natural world and the mission of Evergreen Audubon & Nature Center
A bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years of experience in a relevant role (communications, development, or related), or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
