Job summary

Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles seeks a Communications Specialist to support institutional development and community engagement through writing and editing projects, collaborating with leadership to craft proposals, stewardship reports, campaigns, remarks, and web content.

You will develop plans, manage projects from concept to completion, coordinate calendars, and work with internal and external partners to advance fundraising and program goals across print, digital, and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public health, marketing, PR or related major is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience writing, editing, delivering in-depth content, project management or related communications experience required.

Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and publish content for programs, events and campaigns.
• Develop communications plans and coordinate production of materials.
• Build relationships with cross-functional partners to plan communications.
• Manage projects from development to completion, including timelines and budgets.
• Maintain communications calendars and collateral archives.
• Submit project tickets via a project management system (e.g., Asana).
• Support development initiatives across print, digital, and web.
