Qualifications

• Must maintain or attain single discipline inspector licensure within 1 year of hire.
• Valid South Carolina driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform field and administrative duties to ensure compliance with zoning and land development standards.
• Investigate violations and follow up until remedied.
• Conduct on-site inspections to ensure code compliance.
• Serve on the Flood Investigation Team to address flood-related calls and concerns.
• Manage vision corridor requests within Town buffers.
• Perform inspections for tree protection and mitigation on sites and properties.
• Assist the public with zoning, construction, or inspection inquiries.
• Prepare detailed project and department reports.
