Job summary

Ed Trust seeks an Associate II, Development to join our Development team in Washington, DC. The role supports grant review, proposals, donor engagement and reporting across the lifecycle, coordinating with program, communications and grant managers to deliver high‑quality materials.

Available immediately, this position allows telework for up to three days per week and reports to the Chief Development Officer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2–3 years of experience in related roles.
• Demonstrated experience with grants or individual fundraising.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft, edit and prepare high‑quality proposals and reports for funders (attachments included).
• Organize grant kickoff meetings and track deliverables throughout the grant period.
• Prepare donor correspondence on behalf of the CDO/President & CEO.
• Write and coordinate online donor cultivation and stewardship communications.
• Develop fundraising materials using Ed Trust policy knowledge and impact data.
• Stay current with best practices in fundraising and donor database management.
