Job summary

Wellspring Health Access is hiring a Development Associate to support fundraising strategy and donor relations in Loveland, CO. The role focuses on C3 activities and may shift toward C4 work as needed.

You will report to the Development Director and collaborate with WHA staff to sustain the organization’s mission. Responsibilities include donor outreach, content development for communications, data entry, and coordinating events, with occasional travel and after-hours work as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree desired
• 1–3 years of development or strong administrative experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Strong technology skills with spreadsheets and databases
• Details orientation and effective project management

Responsibilities

• Track outreach to donor prospects.
• Draft and update donor communications as directed by the Development Director.
• Assist in tracking and updating donor communications and records.
• Ensure tracking of 501c4 activities and monthly reconciliation with the Development Director.
• Participate in weekly update meetings and report as needed.
• Research prospects (individuals and foundations) for private funding sources and assist in fundraising analysis.
• Prepare reports and enter data for prospect and donor tracking.
• Coordinate calls and travel logistics; prepare itineraries for leadership.
• Assist with donor recognition and direct mail preparation.
• Support the Development Department with event coordination and outreach activities.
