Job summary

The University of Miami, through UHealth and the Division of Development and Alumni Relations, seeks a Development Associate to support fundraising programs in Miami, FL. • Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of one year of relevant fundraising/administrative experience.
• Excellent written and oral English; strong customer service.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Support the development plan to attract, retain, and increase mid-level donor giving.
• Manage a portfolio of mid-level prospects and research potential donors.
• Identify and elevate prospective major gift donors to philanthropy officers.
• Create and execute donor communications and stewardship plans.
• Document all contacts and proposals in donor records and CRM systems.
