Overview

The purpose of this job is to prepare the associate for placement in future professional and management roles within Internal Audit and to provide the associate with a knowledge and understanding of the various departments, services, and products of Trustmark.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned rotations, such as Risk, Corporate Functions, Information Technology, and special projects, and interact with multiple levels of employees and customers
• Attend designated classes/training
• Community Involvement
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Trustmark focuses on program participants who have a demonstrated strong work ethic and leadership skills through academic performance, work experience and campus involvement. In addition, interested students should also:

• Earned a Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in IT, Accounting, Human Resources or Business Finance with a minimum GPA of 3.0
• Scheduled to graduate on or before May 2027
• Detail oriented, organized, analytical and demonstrated problem solving abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to handle complex projects with a sense of urgency, adaptability to change, innovation, tech savvy and results oriented
• Internship or prior work experience a plus
• Enthusiasm and genuine interest in developing a career with Trustmark and the financial industry
• Full- Time position located in Jackson, MS.
• Must be able to start June 7, 2027

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time and use a computer keyboard and/or mouse, while viewing computer screens.
