$23.00/hr - $26.00/hr

Job Title: Temporary Development Associate (Part-Time)

Fully Remote!

Location: New York, NY (Remote), would love for someone to go in to the office maybe 1 time a week.

Compensation: $23 - $26 per hour (based on experience)

End Date: July 18, 2025

This nonprofit organization is committed to advancing reproductive justice through advocacy, policy change, and grassroots empowerment. They focus on empowering marginalized communities, creating meaningful change, and ensuring equal access to reproductive health, dignity, and justice.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and highly organized Temporary Development Associate to support fundraising initiatives, donor communications, and event execution. This part-time role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of a vital nonprofit working toward social justice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records in Salesforce for foundation and individual donor contributions.
  • Draft and edit donor communications, including letters and reports.
  • Assist in implementing individual giving campaigns in collaboration with the Major Gifts Manager and digital engagement team.
  • Support virtual and in-person fundraising events, including logistics, content creation, and volunteer coordination.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Team to track and code revenue accurately.
  • Contribute to the organization’s overall fundraising strategy and goals.
What We’re Looking For:
  • At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in fundraising/development for a U.S.-based nonprofit, preferably with a focus on advocacy or social justice.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to craft clear, persuasive messages for donor communications.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with Salesforce is preferred but not required.
  • A passion for social justice, particularly in the areas of reproductive rights and community empowerment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a remote team.
  • Fluent in English; Spanish language skills are a plus.
