Employment Status: Regular Full-time

Compensation Range: The base pay scale for this position is $47,000 - $71,750. Additional benefits are available. Final salary will depend on experience, education, accomplishments, and other factors, and is subject to Fair Market Value evaluation.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain relationships with HSS physicians to meet fundraising objectives and campaign priorities.
  • Assist fundraisers with prospect and donor cultivation, tracking all interactions and updating gift projections and reports.
  • Coordinate meetings and prepare confidential materials, including Excel lists, briefings, PowerPoint presentations, and bios.
  • Draft correspondence such as proposals, stewardship reports, and acknowledgment letters.
  • Research potential donors in collaboration with the research team.
  • Plan and execute donor meetings and events, including logistics and briefing materials.
  • Understand the department’s goals and how they align with HSS’s mission.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of two years of professional experience; fundraising experience preferred.
Skills and Personal Characteristics
  • Organized, meticulous, resourceful, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills (a writing test is required).
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and familiar with Raiser’s Edge or similar database systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, integrity, discretion, and judgment.
  • Collaborative team player with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Energetic and driven to meet the demands of a high-performing fundraising team.
  • Passionate about the HSS mission.
