Position Summary:
The Development Assistant in thePhilanthropic Leadership Group(PLG) department provides essential administrative support and analytical skills to the Stewardship and Philanthropic Services (SPS) arm of the department. They will support three professionals on the PLG team and work across the broader team on events, research, strategy and more.
The PLG department serves as the strategic engager of major donors to UJA’s annual campaign. The work of our team is varied and includes a myriad of programs and events throughout the year to engage and steward UJA’s major donors; much of this engagement is through the major giving societies at the $25K+ gift level. Another core focus of the SPS work involves creating and managing site visits and volunteerism in collaboration with our fundraising colleagues throughout the organization. In addition, ongoing meetings, donor interactions, and collaborative projects are a central part of our work.

The salary for this role is $50,000 annually.
Reporting Information:
This role reports to the Director of Stewardship and Philanthropic Services, PLG and is a hybrid position, with a set three days/week (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday) in office.
