The Geological Society of America Foundation seeks a passionate fundraising professional to join our mission-driven team. You'll be part of individual donor cultivation, planned giving initiatives, and strategic communications that directly support geoscience education, research, and professional development. The GSAF raises funds to support programs at the Geological Society of America. What you'll do:

• Cultivate and steward individual donors through personalized relationship-building
• Develop and execute planned giving strategies
• Create compelling communications across multiple channels including social media, direct mail, and direct donor communications
• Plan and execute donor events at national scientific meetings
• Partner with staff and the Board of Trustees on fundraising initiatives

What we're looking for:

• 5+ years nonprofit fundraising experience
• Proven track record of donor cultivation and stewardship
• Proficiency with donor databases and strong faculty with technology in general (strong Google suite skills)
• Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail, including excellent writing and editing skills and social media experience
• Willingness to travel for donor visits and events
• Fully remote position with flexible schedule
• Support a field that shapes our understanding of Earth

We aim to keep our interview process as straightforward as possible. We will review your application and let you know quickly if you will move forward in the process.
