Job summary

Sirva is seeking a Developer/Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain systems that collect, transform, and load data from multiple sources into centralized warehouses for analysis. You will build data pipelines and optimize SQL-driven models using SQL, Python, ETL tools, and platforms like Databricks or SQL Server for data integration and reporting.

In this role you will spend 75% on data integration and ETL, 20% on modeling and optimization, and 5% on collaboration with Cloud Architects,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science related field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5 years experience with ETL Design, Data Warehousing, or developing Business Intelligence solutions.
• Experience working in a global environment and with remote and distributed teams.
• Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to operate in a self-directed environment.
• Minimum 5 years experience with: Languages: SQL, Python.
• Data Transformation Tools: Azure Data Factory, Visual Studio SSIS, Databricks.
• Data Warehousing/Cloud Architecture: Databricks, Azure, SQL Server, Microsoft Fabric.
• Version Control: Git, Azure DevOps.

• Position Title: Developer
• Salary Range: $92,000-$108,000 CAD
• Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package that includes choice of two Medical plans and two dental plans; Retirement plan, RRSP employer match (after 1 year), Life & Disability Insurance, and more. Benefits are based on employment status and may not be available for temporary or non full-time employees

Salary ranges may vary based on location, market conditions, and other factors such as experience and qualifications. The final compensation will be determined during the hiring process based on these considerations.
