Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. is seeking a Software Developer Relations, Business Development Manager in Austin, TX to drive strategic partnerships with Independent Software Vendors and accelerate AMD’s Commercial and AI PC platform ecosystem.

You will evangelize AMD technology, design evaluations, and collaborate across engineering, program management, product marketing, finance, legal and executives to achieve joint business outcomes. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential.

The Software Developer Relations, Business Development Manager entails responsibilities for working with ISV(s) to develop business and marketing strategies that compliment AMD’s initiatives; as well as enabling product development in building AMD’s Commercial and AI PC platform ecosystem. Candidate will evangelize AMD technology, create, and track strategic partnerships Independant Software Vendors that have a focus Commercial and AI PC software solutions. In this highly collaborative role, you will work with engineering, program management, product marketing, finance, legal and executive teams.

THE PERSON:

You will possess a breadth of abilities and skills with an emphasis on strategic business development in the exciting space of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. We are looking for a person with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Someone that can work independently as well as part of a team. With outstanding organizational and time management skills, balancing multiple priorities. You must also have the ability to cultivate strong internal and external relationships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Articulate the benefits of AMD based technology in the computing and graphics segment

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Proven experience as an engineer or equivalent technical role balanced with experience in a customer facing role
• Proven knowledge in any of the market verticals
• Expertise in one or more of the following areas
  • AI/ML
  • Computing and Graphics
  • Software support such as debug and or software to hardware interfacing
  • Powerpoint Presentations
• Strong presentation abilities both written and verbal

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related discipline preferred
