Job summary

Mount Thor is seeking a deeply technical Developer Relations Lead to help engineers build on our macOS and Apple Silicon compute platform. The role blends coding, debugging, and performance measurement on real workloads, with ownership of developer documentation and benchmarks.

You will work with engineers to create tools, references, and integrations, ensuring a high-signal presence in Apple infrastructure communities and guiding product decisions based on developer feedback.

Qualifications

• Production-system experience as software/platform/infrastructure engineer
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Rust or Swift
• Deep knowledge of macOS and Apple Silicon
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, VMs, or distributed systems
• Strong technical writing skills and ability to document complex work

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain example apps, tools, integrations, and reference implementations for workloads on Mount Thor
• Run workloads on macOS and Apple Silicon across the platform
• Own developer journey documentation: quickstarts, platform guides, configs, networking, storage, observability
• Produce benchmarks and deep dives on Apple hardware generations and configurations
• Collaborate with developers onboarding and during investigations to create documentation and tooling
• Build integrations with agent frameworks, CI systems, and AI workflows
• Identify bugs across app, OS, and infrastructure boundaries and reproduce them for engineering to fix
• Represent developers inside Mount Thor and communicate feedback to product and engineering
• Teach through code, writing, workshops, and open-source community presence
