Job summary

Aikido Security is seeking a hands-on Developer Relations professional based in San Francisco to engage with the local and online developer community. You will attend meetups, hackathons, and industry events, building genuine relationships and shaping how developers talk about the company.

In this role you will collaborate with marketing and product to support launches, amplify events, and turn feedback into effective messaging while growing Aikido’s developer-first security narrative.

Qualifications

Experience in Developer Relations, Developer Advocacy, community leadership, or developer marketing.
Active in the developer ecosystem with regular meetups or events.
Existing developer network or recognizable presence in parts of the community.
Bonus: creates technical content (blog, newsletter, YouTube, podcast, social presence).

Responsibilities

Be highly visible in the SF developer community (meetups, hackathons, demo days, conferences).
Build and maintain relationships with developers, founders, platform engineers, DevOps engineers, and security-minded builders.
Represent Aikido at developer meetups, conferences, and community events.
Help organize and host Aikido meetups, happy hours, workshops, and developer events.
Actively engage with the developer community online (X, Slack, Discord, developer forums).
Collaborate with marketing and product to support launches, amplify events, and turn community insights into better messaging.
